Reference K
Experience a new sound age with the Reference K family: It is characterized by membranes with ceramic tungsten structure, the innovative Bass-Guide® technology and housing-friendly housing dimensions. Her performance is as relaxed as it is self-confident in all nuances of sound and at all levels. The Reference loudspeakers are manufactured in-house at Canton - the only way we can maintain the required quality standards, eliminate fault tolerances and meet the high sound requirements of the top products.
Perfection is a question of details. For this reason, we have carefully selected, checked and acoustically optimised all components of the Reference K speakers: To meet your and our demands for a perfect diaphragm, we use an aluminium cone with a ceramic tungsten structure in both the midrange and the bass range of our Reference speakers. The resulting perfection in music reproduction is fascinating. As the control centre of the speakers, the crossovers with high-end components make a decisive contribution to stress-free music enjoyment at all levels. They ensure brilliant highs, impressive basses and the highest precision in the fundamental range. The six-core high-end Cantolink 400 internal cabling with special core and full insulation, specially developed and manufactured in-house for the Reference series, ensures optimum signal transmission from the connection terminal via the crossover to the individual speaker systems.
Bass Guide
for precise bass
The plinth design ensures that our Reference models have an outstandingly precise and clear bass response. The base is open at the front and back and closed at the sides, which, in addition to the sound benefits, has the additional effect that the hi-fi speakers can be placed close to walls. The base construction is tapered towards the rear so that the bass is optimally distributed in the room and the majority of the downward-opening bass reflex reaches the listener. This guided bass reproduction creates an unbelievably wide stage with a powerful bass foundation that is second to none.

As we all know, there is no substitute for volume. That is why the enclosures of the Reference K speakers have grown. Not in height, but in depth. The clear advantage: a more elegant appearance with more living-room-friendly dimensions despite a significantly higher interior volume. The surfaces of the high-end speakers are just as exquisite as the technologies used. They impress at first glance and overwhelm at second. Colour tones and wood finishes underline the highly sophisticated character of the Reference speakers. The high-gloss, robust and even "Piano Finish" special sealant is applied and polished in up to twelve layers. It gives the Reference K Series cabinet surface an overwhelming sense of depth.
CERAMIC-TUNGSTEN
TECHNOLOGY
The membranes of the high-end speakers are manufactured in a complex process. In the process, 20% of the molecular structure of an aluminium cone is converted into a ceramic structure and refined with tungsten particles. The result is a diaphragm with an optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio, improved internal damping and a warm timbre.
WAVE-SURROUND
GEOMETRY
The woofer and midrange systems are equipped with the latest generation of patented wave surrounds. Three congruent bead arcs ensure balanced force symmetry and thus absolutely even transient response even at high levels.
OPTIMISED
CONNECTION TERMINALS
Four gold-plated full-metal screw terminals, suitable for cable cross-sections up to 10 mm² and banana plugs, enable bi-wiring and bi-amping operation. The high quality of the components used ensures almost loss-free signal transmission. The 1 K, 2 K and 3 K models additionally allow fine-tuning in the mid- and high-frequency range.
